Fall Arrest Netting

​

Falls from height are the main hazard associated with the industry today. Operatives are exposed to leading edges, fragile roof sheets, skylights and partly fixed sheets from which they can fall through.

Safety netting provides additional safety when working at heights and is the preferred solution by the HSE over the use of safety harnesses and running lines.

Safety netting is rigged below the steel work and offers workers increased freedom of movement whilst offering total protection within the netted area. 

Safety Netting can be erected to Pre Cast / Metal Decking using specially designed clamps, thus allowing the beams to sit directly onto the steel work and not trapping any tie cords. The safety netting is rigged close to the underside of the roof attached to the structural steelwork.

Debris Netting

 

Safety Netting is a clear choice when it comes to preventing falls or injury resulting from a fall at height. Debris netting is an extra safety precaution taken when the likelihood of falling materials is high. Such situations may arise in a top down deconstruction.

Debris netting helps prevent injury or accident to workers below the construction or de-construction area and is a dedicated and separate system from personnel fall arrest netting.

Debris netting can be fixed to safety netting in our yard before arriving on site so it does not slow the installation down.

Installing Safety Netting

Safety Netting installed by our trained CSCS Safety Net Riggers will allow unhindered movement for those working above whilst offering you peace of mind that they are working within a protected zone.

Safety netting can be installed in almost all roofing & flooring situations to prevent injuries due to falls.

The nets can be suspended from the around the steelwork, underneath the steelwork using specially design clamps or over wallplates, utilising tested ‘wall hangers’ to protect the persons working above from falls.

All of our safety net erectors are trained to the CSCS Safety Net Riggers administrated scheme ‘FASET’ (Fall Arrest Safety Equipment Training) & hold ‘IPAF’ (International Powered Access Federation) licenses to operate mobile elevating work platforms.
